Scouting America’s Position Specific Training is encouraged for all Direct Contact Volunteers. To be consider fully “trained” in your position this course must be completed. For Cub Scout (K-5) volunteers, the Middle Tennessee Council offers Den Leader Training, but all other Direct Contact Leaders need to complete their Position Specific by using the Scouting America online modules offered through www.my.Scouting.org. Once this training is completed, it does not need to be repeated for the position.
