Scouting in the Middle Tennessee Council is celebrating 100 years of programming. The 100th Anniversary Committee is hard at work, planning an unforgettable year of celebration, history, new and renewed Scouting friendships, camping and FUN. This year-long celebration will touch all areas of the council, providing something for all to enjoy.

There will be many activities to choose from - area Camporees with special activities and exhibits, unique patches to collect, a 100th anniversary coffee table book on the history of the Middle Tennessee Council and commemorative items. The centennial celebration comes to a climax with the Council Jamboree, to be held at the Boxwell Reservation, September 24-26, 2021. The Jamboree promises to be an incredible event, and will include a museum of Scouting history, entertaining shows, a Trade-O-Ree, and program reunions.

We hope that you will look over the included dates, and make room in your unit’s activities to take part in these memorable events in 2020. We are excited for all that is to come in our council’s centennial year, and we are hopeful that your unit will be a part of it, making memories for years to come.
